2nd November 2019:
The day we landed in New Zealand to start the next stage of our lives. We will be building a new home in the town of Kinloch starting early next year but, in the meantime, we are living in Taupo. Of course, its summer ‘Down Under’ and this is the view from just down the street from our temporary home.
While we wait for the house to be built (we will post pictures of the progress) we intend to do some exploring around our new country. Please feel free to follow our adventures in our travel posts. We will also post some observations about New Zealand which we hope you will find fun or interesting.
That’s one of the most beautiful views I have ever seen! I’ll be right on the other side of Mt Ruhapehu.
Hi Rich, glad you like the views. We posted some Ruapehu photos but have not ventured up the south side to the ski fields as I don’t believe they are open for visitors in summer!
Wow! That’s impressive. I had to wait until the weekend to start reading your blog. There is so much to hear I wanted to really have time to read it. Ps I am impressed with your blog and you have inspired me. When I have a spare moment I want to figure out how to do one for my friends and family.
